Warm up for the day on an exhilarating red that will really get the knees flexing and prepped for the runs in Courchevel. Take the Verdons télécabine to the Saulire cable car then start your decent from the top of Saulire; ideally, ski it before lunch wihen it is less busy and still well-groomed.
For a more testing diversion, take the mogulled couloir that runs beneath the cable car; there are many chutes that criss-cross the couloir for those who want an added degree of difficulty. The Couloir Tremplin, which leads across the fold on the piste map, will take you down to Meribel. Ride the cable car back up for a dash down Creux Haut or the slightly tougher Marmottes.
