Gezi Hotel Bosphorus
With a relaxing ambience that belies its central location, the Gezi Hotel Bosphorus is a stylish hotel with eco credentials. You’d never know the cultural bustle of Taksim Square and the vibrant Gezi Park were mere steps away from the hotel’s curvaceous zinc and titanium exterior. Once inside, guests are transported by the decor, the luxurious Silver Spa, which offers a wide range of treatments, including a traditional Turkish hammam experience, the attentive service and, of course, the sumptuous Mediterranean cuisine at Fiamma restaurant and bar.
At once cosy and chic, the 56 rooms and 11 suites at the Gezi Hotel Bosphorus are decorated in warm neutral and earthy tones, the better to offset the stunning views from the windows, which sweep out over the Bosphorus, Gezi Park, or the hotel’s own verdant gardens. In fact, the views are so good, the designers made sure guests could see them from the rainfall showers.
But those with coin to spare should consider opting for one of the Sky Suites. With their own private jacuzzis and outdoor terraces, they offer a truly decadent way to enjoy the sight of the minarets and the glittering blue waters of the Bosphorus. Then again, the Sky Suites also have hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a private bar so there’s more than enough to keep your eyes trained inwards.
