Doga Balik
Delicious meze and fabulously fresh fish are served alongside superb views of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Within easy reach of Beyoglu's bars and clubs; head to nearby 5 Kat for a post-dinner drink.
Feriye
If this fabulous restaurant was any closer to the Bosphorus, it would be underwater. With food and service as befits its grand setting, it is perfect for a special night out.
Flamm
A modern Mediterranean restaurant, Flamm stands out amidst Asmalimescit's serried eateries. It's a great place to start an evening out.
Frankie Istanbul
When it comes to making a splash, restaurants should take notes from Frankie Istanbul, the restaurant quickly becoming one of the city’s most popular hangout spots.

Although popularity with the tourist hordes has taken some of the joy out of eating at the Kumkapi Meyhanes, it is still a fun experience on a warm night. The fish is, as always, delicious.
Leb-i Derya Richmond
This second Leb-i-Derya is more restaurant than bar. Whilst it shares fabulous city and Bosphorus views with its sister restaurant nearby, this restaurant in the central Richmond hotel is perfect for a romantic dinner. styl

Seasons
If you are not fortunate enough to be staying at the excellent Four Seasons hotel in Sultanahmet, a trip to the Seasons Restaurant is a good substitute if you are in the mood for fine dining.
Sunset Grill & Bar
Well worth the taxi ride to Ulus Park, Sunset's enduring popularity with the smart crowd is due to its fabulous terrace with Bosphorus views, excellent varied menu and well-stocked wine cellar.
The Kilisli Palace
Emirgan might be quite a trek out of the central pleasures of Beyoglu and Sulanahmet, but it's home to an increasing number of travel-worthy venues, including the wonderful Kilisli Palace.
