This great franchise now has branches across South Africa. It’s pretty much Jo’burg’s equivalent of Starbucks, since you order and pay your coffee at the bar. However, the friendly, helpful staff and the buzzing atmosphere really sets Vida E apart from its competitors – especially
when you tip, when the servers all perform a cheer in unison. The Sandton Central venue in particular is a great place to grab a coffee, either relaxing outside on wooden decking under shady trees or collapsing at a table inside. Either way, it’s a great urban retreat and a welcome alternative to the many shopping centre based cafés in the city. Additional branches can also be found in Greenside, Parktown and OR Tambo Airport.
