Burger Bar defies the super-sized, glitzy stereotype that we’ve come to expect from restaurants in Vegas. Nope, this is a simple joint where you can get a damn good burger and a cold draft beer in the company of casual, like-minded company. Sports games play on plasma TVs behind the long bar and throughout the restaurant, and each booth has its own mini-screen. Sure, there are some eccentric burgers, like the Rossini burger made from Kobe beef with foie gras and shaved truffles, and named after the 19th-century Italian composer ($90), or the Surf and Turf burger made from Black Angus with grilled half lobster and grilled green asparagus on plain bun ($24), but that’s just celebrity chef Hubert Keller showing off. You can choose your own toppings, or have a classic American cheeseburger with Ridgefield farm beef ($12).
