Just off the Rua Garratt, this bar/café is a convenient meeting-place for afternoon shoppers and post-work drinkers. Perspex lamps, beige leather benches and plastic seating conforms to a 1960s-inspired theme.
rnThe café selection is limited, but it’s a pleasant enough space for biding your time. Beanbags on the lower level provide comfortable lounge space beneath the DJ decks, while ample indoor seating is available over two floors; unlike most bars in the city, it’s actually possible to sit down and have a drink.
rnAt night Herois attracts a gay crowd with an overstated emphasis on the body beautiful. Drink prices are steep for the area and the bar is arguably too trendy for its boots.
