Set down a Soho side street, Bone Daddies has quickly become one of London’s hottest tables. The line here winds its way down the road every night of the week – most willing to wait up to an hour for their dinner. And really, this is not much of a surprise – the food here is hearty, flavoursome and affordable; an enormous steaming bowl of ramen setting you back about £10. Try the Tonkotsu Ramen which is made with a 20-hour boiled pork bone broth or opt for something a little more fiery with the Tantanmen – made with a chicken bone broth and featuring sesame, pork mince, bok choy and a healthy dose of chilli. Bone Daddies also a great range of starters and sides on offer (the yellowtail sashimi and the soft shell crab are particular favourites), as well as some delicious alcoholic infusions. There’s a great range of Sake to choose from but it’s the Shochu that really steals the show.
