Dinner’s more fun when it’s secret. At least that’s the theory behind Culinary Mischief, a supper club series that hosts lavish, six-course feasts. Locations are revealed just one day before dining, and the menu remains under wraps until guests arrive. Helmed by young Florentine chef Gabe Bertaccini, the dishes don’t stray too far from Italian tradition; given that seasonality is the guiding principle, however, menus are constantly evolving. Expect generously portioned plates like veal chops with saffron polenta and caponata, matching Italian wines, and a languorous meal that stretches on for hours.
