The Shed
Offering up a slice of West Sussex in the heart of West London, dinner at The Shed feels a little like stepping into the home of a bohemian British family…one that eats very very well. And essentially, that is exactly what you get here. The co-venture of Gladwin brothers Oliver, Richard and little brother Gregory, this is one talented family – whilst Richard runs the restaurant, Oliver is the head chef and Gregory supplies the produce fresh from his Nutbourne farm. The menu changes daily depending on what Gregory sends over and features a selection of “Mouthfuls” (which are just that) and small plates designed for sharing. Choose a few dishes from the “Slow Cooking” and “Fast Cooking” sections (the Lamb Chips served with parsley, lemon and harissa are particularly good) and tuck into beautifully crafted and presented dishes featuring the freshest of ingredients. There’s also a great wine list – some of which come courtesy of the family vineyard.
