The city’s only authorised Segway dealership serves Santa Monica, Venice Beach, and Malibu – though Segway enthusiasts are cautioned to stick to the Santa Monica and Malibu paths, as Venice Beach cyclists tend to hog lanes and view Segway riders with scorn. The staff are friendly and lenient when it comes to rental times/rates, but typically rentals are priced at $75 for 2 hours. Guided tours are also available.
