Take a peek behind the scenes of telly world and grab the chance to see one of your favourite shows in the making. You'll forever be able to shout when it appears on screen: 'I was there!'
The Brewery
The Brewery Art colony consists of five hundred or so artists in every field of production. Over 170 private studios in the 300-studio complex throw open their doors to the public, so keep an eye out.
Santa Monica Pier
If the rides and cotton candy put you off visiting the pier in the day, head down after dark and participate in their programme of events including a series of dances and concerts.
Hollywood and Highland Center
Are your hands bigger than Elizabeth Taylor's? There's only one way to find out, and that's on the sidewalk outside the legendary Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. A touristy must-do.
Griffith Park
Griffith park is not only home to that ultra-famous Hollywood sign, but also holds the title of the largest municipal park in the United States. Come here to escape the traffic and enjoy a little green space.
