The White Rooms is one of the more recent nightclubs in Marrakech, having opened its doors in January 2006. A relatively small space, White Rooms boasts a reasonably sized dance-floor, a snazzy bar and rows of white(ish) tables and chairs arranged around the main floor. In other words, it’s much like most of the other hotel clubs in town. The White Rooms has a slight edge over others, however, in that DJ Costa (not to be confused with the Kosta that plays at Pacha) has residencies in Spain and Paris and seems to know his stuff. The crowds aren’t clued-up clubbers, exactly – more a mix of businessmen, local girls and curious tourists – but Costa keeps them entertained with a knowing mix of disco, deep house, R&B and Latino music.
