Six impeccable guestrooms, each individually styled and named, surround a peaceful, leafy courtyard at Riad Mena, a hotel that exudes a sense of calm despite being minutes from Marrakech’s main market, the Jemaa el Fna. Originally envisioned as a private home, the light and minimalist interiors, crafted by designer Romain Michel-Ménière and owner Philomena Schurer Merckoll, have a playful sense of colour in otherwise all-white rooms, while showcasing pieces sourced from the local markets alongside Panton chairs and antique Berber wedding blankets. The guest bathrooms are designed by Philippe Starke and stocked with locally made bath products.

In fact, there are amenities and features galore for guests at Riad Mena, with an on-site pool for cooling off in the warm afternoons, a Hammam and a snack-filled honesty kitchen, not to mention the regular film screenings out on the terrace.
