11th Street Diner
One of the most authentic diners in Miami, 11th Street Diner was uprooted from its original home in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1948 and reassembled on South Beach.
It landed right beside Twist (South Beach’s top gay nightclub) and serves every kind of comfort food imaginable for intoxicated night owls, lady boys and locals who just love their authentic American diner cuisine.
Like Jerry’s Famous Deli, it’s open all day every day, but it’s smaller, the staff are friendlier and the food cheaper. Anyway, it’s much more fun to sit in a stainless-steel spaceship from Pennsylvania.
11th St Diner is a good place for late-night binges or a hung-over breakfast on the way to the beach.
