Authentic and yet processing a degree of cheeky panache, La Moon, a dressed up Colombian diner in Miami, has its charms, so do take advantage of the bounty on offer. Select from smaller options like arepas (corn pancakes) stuffed with chicken or beef, Colombian burgers or dogs, hearty breakfast dishes or daily specials. Finish with one of the ultra-sweet closers, maybe the quatro leches (33% better than the more typical tres leches cake?). There are substantial meat and seafood platters as well if you’re in desperate need of refueling. It’s probably much more fun in the post-debauchery wee hours – it’s open Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 6am the following morning; just don’t expect to toddle off to bed afterwards. A round of sunrise clubbing, perhaps?
