Tunnel is back!
rnAfter 6 years masquerading as a Latin American club, Tunnel is trying to re-establish itself as Milan’s nightclub of nightclubs if you want to catch the next big thing in the music world before they break into the bigtime. Something it used to excel at – bands that played here during as unknowns include the White Stripes, Royksopp, Arab Strap, not to mention DJ-sets by not reknowned international DJs and producers.
rnTunnel is a small loft with a capacity of about 300 people by the Stazione Centrale, the main train station in Milan: its name refers to the voulted and high roof, ideal for a perfect acoustics. The scene is super relaxed with no dress code and no attitude – making it the perfect place to jump onto the dancefloor and loose yourself.
rnThe club re-opened in September with a big party showcasing the cream of the Milanese DJ community. They haven’t organised a weekly programme yet, but play host to a monthly party featuring some of the best Italian DJs, including CCKZ (tech house), Lust Minute (trance), Re::life (jazz house) and Radioactivity (mash up, electro).
