Magna Pars Suites Milano
There are echoes of Magna Pars Suites Milano’s olfactory history throughout the hotel. Like scents on the air that you catch briefly, before they escape you. There’s the lush garden that blooms with roses and jasmine, azaleas and clematis. Rooms are named for fruit trees, aromatic woods, flowers and plants. And, of course, in the biggest homage – the on-site perfume laboratory. You see, the building that now houses Magna Pars Suites Milano, found in the heart of the Navigli district, not far from the canals, used to be a perfume factory. And today, guests and visitors alike can visit the light-flooded halls of LabSolue to buy their own fragrances.
The interiors throughout are white – from the walls to the soft bed linens – but there are artistic splashes of colour here and there. A sumptuous salmon-pink chaise longue. A cobalt blue armchair, or a cherry red leather sofa. Floors are wooden and well-looked after, and botanically-inspired art takes up pride of place on the walls. Some of the more deluxe suites at Magna Pars Suites Milano even have their own private libraries and Corian bathtubs. It’s an exercise in elegance, and it continues throughout the hotel’s public spaces.
Guests have the run of a gym and spa that looks out over the internal garden – a serene sight whether you’re running in place on the treadmill or indulging in something altogether more relaxing. And there’s a bar and fine dining restaurant on-site, the latter with a charming al fresco area, serving everything from cocktails to Italian classics that are sure to sate and satisfy any craving.
