Taverna della Trisa
One of the best restaurants in Milan, probably one of the best in Italy. The menu is written in a perfect Trentino dialect, a small region in the north of Italy – which is just as incomprehensible for Italians as well as foreigners. Instead of consulting the menu, ask the maitre d’Giuliano to explain to the choices of highly memorable Trentino dishes.
The selection is ample and the menu changes each season: in any case you will always find meat (starters such as salami of venison, cheese and mushrooms; main courses like veal in antichoke sauce or wild game), freshwater fish (smoked, grilled.) or home made pasta.
Don’t forget to try the typical regional wines like Teroldego or Marzemino (Mozart’s favourite wine) and, just after the coffee, a grappa.
Forget about the fashion restaurants for a night and enjoy eating in this old styled atmosphere, with green moquette, dark wood and antique bottles.
