Markets
Head down to to these places to do your market shopping in Milan.
Pick up Italian antiques from Mercatone Dell’Antiquariato, a huge antiques market that lines the banks of the Navigli Grande canal with more than 350 stalls that seem to come from Milan’s spring-cleaned attics, held on the last Sunday of every month. Curios include Venetian glass and chandeliers, old telephones and antique maps.
La Fiera di Sinigaglia in Viale d’Annunzio is Milan’s most important flea market, held every Saturday. Papiniano in Viale Papiniano is a popular open-air market on Saturdays, selling all sorts from junk to cut-price designer clothes.
