You simply can’t miss the flashing neon lights of Jazz Town in Taganka Square – it’s like Vegas and Piccadilly all rolled into one, and is part of a complex that is nightclub, casino, restaurant and anything else that you want it to be.
rnTo the left of the main entrance is a staircase that leads you up to the Jazz Club. Daily programmes include live performances by both Russian and international jazz artists, including names such as Billy Cobham, Deborah Brown, Sergey Manukyan and Anna Koroleva.
rnLike all performances in Moscow, they also start here at 7pm. This easy listening venue is slightly out of the centre but worth a visit – the New York style interior is relaxing and there is a dance-floor for those who feel like grooving rather than chilling.
rnDancing lessons are also available here.
