Tchaikovsky Concert Hall
Seating over 1,500 people, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall is the largest concert hall in Moscow and home of the famous State Symphony Orchestra.
The modern building, which was constructed in 1940, is an example of Stalinist Socialist Realism, although musicians find it has bad acoustics.
Many visiting international orchestras, ensembles, choirs and soloists perform here throughout the year. Expect to pay anything from 20 to 600 roubles for a ticket for the daily performances, which start at 7pm.
