This is a friendly neighbourhood bar, low-key but housed in a splendid 120 year-old heritage building opposite the Regal cinema. Green leather topped stools, potted plants and old photographs of Mumbai line the walls, giving an ‘olde worlde’ theme, but in a good way.
The music is eclectic, but expect rock ballads and old classics to dominate the speakers. There’s a restaurant on the mezzanine while the bar itself is downstairs – the two intermingle without too much border control, so it can get a little rowdy if you popped in simply for a bite to eat.
If you come here during the day take advantage of the free WiFi and endless cups of coffee – by night it’s all about the huge range of imported beers (by Indian standards), whiskys and glasses of heady reds.
