La Crepe Nanou
This little bistro, complete with sidewalk tables, sits near busy Prytania Street. Locals drop in for a dependable weekday meal. On the weekends, young Uptown professionals sip wine on the sidewalks and wait for a table inside. This unpretentious French restaurant may be named after a crepe, but the best entrées are the mussels, the steak frites, and the salade Niçoise. A classic crepe for dessert, however, is a fine idea.
