At Nola, the most famous chef in America serves up a contemporary style of cooking. While still a formal establishment, Nola has a more relaxed and California-breezy vibe than the Bam Man’s flagship Emeril’s. The kitchen has some surprises up its communal sleeves: Emeril often experiments with new tastes at Nola. A few nods in the direction of the Pacific Rim or some Southwestern flavours might appear on the menu. Rabid Emeril fans from across the country turn the two-storied restaurant into a lively party.
