Hg2 : The Hedonist

Raoul’s

Open for the past 25 years, this French bistro has become an institution as one of the first trendy restaurants in Soho. Still achingly trendy among everyone from suits to stilettos, it’s difficult to say whether it’s the Raoul brothers’ friendly Alsatian cooking or the old world New York interiors that keep people coming back year after year. It’s best to stick with the dishes that made them famous – house specials like¬†steak afrites, and steamed artichokes – as other offerings have been known to fall flat.
