Renoma Café Gallery
Unusual black-and-white photographs of models with montaged animal heads printed onto jazzed-up Louis XVI chairs complement the grey, black and white interior of Renoma Café Gallery. Otherwise, the space has a quasi-industrial feel to it with tubular ventilation pipes on show, white painted brick walls and a concrete floor. Local fashionistas descend on Renoma not only to eat the good food – reasonably priced given the location – but also to sip aperitifs after work, or while poring over the negs of the latest fashion shoot. From 3pm to midnight there’s a limited menu for those who find themselves peckish between Paris’ strict meal times, and a small table is laid out with Italian-style aperitivo, for those feeling the cocktails going to their head too quickly. Turntables and a projector in the corner suggest a clubbier vibe in the evenings.
