Next door to Cafe Charbon, the doyen of Oberkampf bars, Le Nouveau Casino is a busy mainstream venue and club in a former factory space, with a red-lit fibreglass bar contrasting with the stark industrial interior. Bands come on at 7pm, followed by club nights Thursday to Saturday; the talent is largely pop/rock/hip-hop, with recent appearances from Joan As Police Woman, Glasvegas and Dans Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip.
