Pavillon Des Lettres

Owners of the French fashionista favourite Pavillon de larnReine opened another sweet boutique hotel hidden in an equally fashion-focusedrnarea, this time off of the designer-heavy Rue Faubourg Saint Honore. As thernname suggests, Pavillon des Lettres is in homage to the greatest literaryrnwriters from A to Z. With only 26 rooms, from D for Diderot to S forrnShakespeare, each is dedicated to the literary pursuits of the author it isrnnamed after, including lines from each writer’s best works painted above thernbeds.  But the hotel isn’t arncomplete trip back in time. The sleek rooms also come with all of the essentialrnmod-cons for the modern Parisian, including in-room iPads kitted out withrndirectories, mood-setting playlists and the essential morning reads. As are therninteriors, which are cosy contemporary thanks to the coloured velvet cushionsrnand heavy drapes. In the evening, brush up on your reading by grabbing a bookrnand taking a seat in the cosy library.
