The wine and spirits lists at Infernotto are indeed something to be proud of, with rather more unusual offerings and niche products than you might expect when dining out in Rome. Accompany your glass with meat dishes such as the entrecote or feast on rich plates of ravioli, stuffed pasta with various sauces (black truffle is by far the favourite pick) or get the Day Menu, often a successful mix of Italian, Spanish and Moroccan influences. Finish off your dinner with a good selection of desserts. Infernotto appears to welcome a good number of faithful clients who like to pick a chat and it’s altogether unpretentious and homely. Be sure to pay attention to the good jazz music in the background between bites.
