As for who stays here, they’re the seasoned travellers, high-end executives, and other sophisticates who appreciate impeccable service bordering on pampering, deep soaking tubs, double-pane windows, and martinis served by waiters in suits. Business king rooms don’t have tubs, just showers, so be sure to upgrade to the California king if you plan to soak. Though views are not the forte of the Campton, the corner Superior king room offers a charming look at Union Square.
