Dining out in St. Moritz doesn’t get much better than this: often called Bumanns after its famous chef proprietor, Chesa Pirani is located at La Punt – just a few kilometres down the valley in a charming old farmhouse. The food is wonderful, with two Michelin stars to prove it. As you’d expect, all ingredients are carefully sourced by the head chef in person – no delegation here. The restaurant is famed for its specialty tasting menus, flavoured with saffron from the tiny village of Mund in the Valais region of Switzerland. Local farmers also provide beef, veal, lamb and rabbit. In summertime local fishermen provide trout, speckled trout and grayling from the Inn river. A real foodie destination.
