Cresta Run
The Cresta Run offers extreme tobogganing in St. Moritz: it is a 1,100-metre test of manhood that was inaugurated back in 1887. This idea is to ride down an icy track on a small skeleton toboggan – on your stomach, and head-first. With speeds of up to 125k/h, it’s not for the fainthearted. That said, if you manage to remain on board throughout the entire ride – including the notorious Shuttlecock Bend – you have truly accomplished something. The run is generally open to men only from Christmas until the end of February.
