Hg2 : The Hedonist

Remy and Lee’s

Equipped with an on-site pump and other cycle bits and pieces, displayed in cabinets along with trinkets and Buddha statues, Remy and Lee’s is a cyclist’s dream and one of the more laid back Sydney cafés. There’s a communal table taking up most of the café, and the whimsical hipster crowd are happy with the bums-on-milk-crates seating arrangements. Food includes a yummy bircher muesli and sourdough toast sandwiches, though muffins are the speciality; expect them in quirky flavour combinations such as Vegemite and cheese, peanut butter and jam, all washed down with coffee from Sydney roastery Little Marionette. Other pastry items and sweet treats are sourced from Newtown’s Black Star bakery.
