Good God Small Club
This is one of the clubs in Sydney where there’s always something on, from DJs and live bands to music documentary screenings and even trivia – a particularly memorable one picked punter’s brains about The Wire television series. Most nights are usually free but occasionally there’s a small cover charge – best check the website for current details. It’s a fun, frolicsome place with cheery staff, a no-attitude crowd and a cranking sound system, plus there are booths; hewn from plaster white faux rock, they make an ideal perch to settle in and let the night unfold. Drinks-wise, the menu includes jugs of Mint Julep and carafes of the club’s potent white wine sangria.
