This two floor Cantonese style restaurant is one of the biggest in northern Sydney’s business district and has already walked away with numerous accolades including Two Hats and Best New Restaurant titles. But Mr Wong is certainly more than just superficial hype; cross the threshold and the colonial inspired furnishings instantly give this place character. The timber floors, exposed brick walls and French woven chairs mark it as a distinctly unique outpost. With clear nods to its classic Chinese roots, the food has real soul, whether you’re sampling Head Chef Eric Koh’s dim sum or roasted Angus beef short ribs cooked “Shandong style”.
