David Intercontinental

Located where picturesque Neve Tzedek meets the Mediterranean, the luxury David Intercontinental – opened in 2000 – presents a slightly more business-oriented twist to the mega-hotels lining Hayarkon Street’s beachfront.
It has two business lounges, 14 state of the art conference rooms and a convention hall complex that can be divided and integrated according to client needs.
The reception area, a massive hall of wood and marble styled in the tradition of older Israeli hotels, seems a bit dated, but the rooms are refreshingly contemporary, with a warm décor that chimes well with the marvellous sea views.
At 555 rooms, it can at times suffer from loud tour groups and families, though its pool, spa, fitness centre and restaurant easily provide those all-important comforts. And an award-winning concierge service ensures that any guest will be able to discover a whole world revolving around their interests.
The location, walking distance from many of the interesting sites and attractions in the city, is supplemented by the fact that it is merely a few steps away from the less populated strip of beaches leading to Jaffa.
