Defining the Israeli woman is a mind-boggling exercise, often generating statements that are bland, outdated, and simply wrong. Yet, often the dominant sartorial style may shed some light as to the characteristics of the women who choose to follow. Given Neta Efrati’s ability to design in a manner appealing to the light, seemingly careless nature of the local clientele, one would assume that she holds some insight into this sphinxian riddle.
In her most recent, Fall/Winter collection, Efrati clearly draws inspiration from Paris, while tapping into the ever-popular androgynous trend. The line features dresses, skirts and blouses based on winter-themed ‘spice’ colors such as mustard and saffron, as well as purple and dark blue, in various shades and patterns. Beyond her personal designs, the boutique features shoes and accessories collected from her travels around the world.
