For a touch of glam in pleasure playground Roppongi, Feria is as eye-catching as it is classy. From its façade bursting top to toe with green plants to the sleek bars that line the interior, the five-floor entertainment emporium attracts a well-heeled crowd of international professionals intent on letting their hair down at the weekends (albeit in a sophisticated manner).
Various events – including the invite only networking night Black List – take place on different levels: sip a cocktail in a very red basement lounge complete with sultry crimson lighting, leather seating and a wooden bar. Other areas include a luxuriously carpeted Crystal Lounge, complete with upmarket hotel-like sofas, book cases and DJ decks for all night dancing at the more civilised end of the spectrum.
Among its highlights is its roof terrace: a surreal space bedecked with large Renaissance-esque sculptures and white lampshades, it errs on the side of cheesy – but drinking cocktails beneath the Tokyo stars until sunrise more than compensates.
