Red Tea Box
Teas are handcrafted and biodynamic and offered to you to smell before ordering. Lunch is served in a kooky hut behind the shop that has mismatched retro furniture. It’s run by Chinese ladies so there are red paper lanterns and a host of Chinese teas, but the lunch and tea menu is wildly eclectic.
Served in bento boxes, small portions nestle alongside one another: pulled pork sandwich with green papaya and carrot slaw, chicken wellington and mini scones and teacakes. There are also gourmet salads and soups, and vegan and gluten-free desserts. Sweet things include honey saffron caramel cake and brownies with sour cherries.
