The Orzival Lift and the Piste Lona from the top of the Lona T-bar provide some challenging runs in Val d’Anniviers; from the Orzival Lift, you can also access a back valley that descends to the hamlet of St. Jean. Many great runs actually start in the Zinal area but finish in Grimentz; one of these is the Piste du Chamois, a long and aptly-named north face beginning at the top of the Corne de Sorebois lift that takes skiers between Grimentz and Zinal. Another fabulous powder run descends the wide west faces behind the Corne de Sorebois to the Lac de Moiry. You can also ski some even steeper descents to the lake from the top of the Combe Durand Lift. Part of the way down, cross the dam and follow the route to Grimentz.rn
