This lovely mountain restaurant is smaller than Chez Vrony, but is nonetheless a good alternative for eating in Zermatt, with an excellent menu and razor-sharp service. And because it’s slightly less renowned than Chez Vrony, it’s a great place to duck into during the high-season when reservations books are fit-to-bursting.

That said, we recommend booking an inside table on chillier days as there is limited sun on the terrace and inside is extremely warm and cosy. The rosti here comes highly recommended.
