104 Art Suites
104 Art Suites looks wonderful but unfortunately, like some of the other hotels in Bogota, a few details come up short. First and foremost, the hotel has become notorious amongst guests for trying to rip off clients; make sure to double-check your prices before you pay, ask about any extra charges, and generally be very wary of your bill. The other concern is that the hotel is at least a 20-minute drive (or an hour at Bogotá’s busiest times) from anything remotely interesting. That said, the hotel is built for long stays. Each suite resembles an apartment with a kitchenette within a spacious living room, and fireplaces and Jacuzzis in certain suites. Every room is themed around a particular Colombian artist, although the décor verges more on stylish decoration than fine art. The design is extremely modern and trendy, with every piece of furniture carefully selected in beautiful materials (metal, glass, and suede are popular) and colours.
