Serving really high-quality cuts of meat sourced from around the world, from Scotland and the US to Australia and Argentina. Food miles friendly it isn’t, but this is swiftly glossed over by the sheer flavour of the meat. 34’s 100-covers are run by head chef Paul Brown and his team, who have created a sensationally simple menu, cooked in the main over a bespoke charcoal grill imported from Argentina. The classic Mayfair interior designed by Martin Brudnizki, who has done a lot of work with Caprice Holdings all around the world, is timeless Edwardian meets Art Deco elegance. Expect a smattering of personalities chitchatting over a glass of good red wine and a perfectly cooked steak.
