A Mano

The name A Mano means “by hand,” and this rustic Italian restaurant shows just what a cook can accomplish by going back to basics. Chef and owner Adolfo García made his reputation serving Spanish and Latin American seafood at Rio Mar and renditions of Argentine steakhouse dinners at La Boca. His latest venture embraces regional Italian cuisine, with house-cured meats and handmade pastas. García’s restaurants always mix class with informality, which has endeared them to a young group of fun-loving, adventurous gourmets, who have already become regulars at A Mano.
