Eternally popular with those in their 20’s, this bar is hanging onto it’s ‘best rooftop bar’ reputation without too much effort. At 34 floors up it certainly has the wow factor locked in, but be warned it can get a bit breezy up there. Be aware also that there’s a strictly enforced dress code – it’s smart/casual only, with no open shoes for men.
A decent DJ works the decks most nights, except when it’s monsoon (May-September) and the whole bar is sealed off from the downpour. Champagne cocktails are the order of the day here, perfect to pair with some tapas nibbles.
Be warned Aer Bar gets so seriously congested at the weekends and there is a risk of an embarrassing hold up in the melee at the door. Lastly, note that there’s a cover charge of 2,000Rs for the weekend party crowd.
