Horse-riding facilities and stables have existed on this site since 1930, and nowadays the hippodrome seats some 3,000 spectators and hosts races on Sundays starting at noon from approximately May to October. Whilst the course is closed to the public on weekdays, it is possible to organise a guided tour of the stables and facilities (in Russian).
