The Anatolia is a brand new 4 star opening and an impressive addition to the range of upper mid-class hotels in Baku. Rooms are large and decorated in cool shades of blue and silvery grey, with dark wood headboards and furniture. Perhaps more impressively, they also possess some of the biggest plasma screens this hedonist has ever seen! Although one would hope you have travelled to Baku for more than just a TV. There is a small, but reasonable fitness centre with indoor pool and all the usual business facilities of a Baku hotel. As with its big sister The Ambassador, however, it is really only position that lets the Anatolia down, located, as it is, in an even remoter and uninteresting district near Ganjlik metro than its sister property.
