Anchor & Hope
Urbanites who frequent the back alley that is Minna Street are no strangers to its stylized holes-in-the-wall and the Anchor&Hope, a fantastic spot for eating out in San Francisco, on this gritty corridor, is prized for being out of sight to map-wielding tourists. The third eatery from the beloved restaurateurs responsible for Town Hall and Salt House, this place has all the elements you’d expect from a modern-rustic seafood joint. Though it can noisy, the setting is pretty low-key-small groups of friends tend to fill the bleached-wood tables and chairs for afterwork beers and dinner. The King salmon gravlax and the lobster roll are among the signature dishes.
