Hg2 : The Hedonist

Babington’s Tea Rooms

This is one of the charming little tea rooms in Rome which is a vision of the tea ritual that most Italians think still goes on in contemporary England. Rather bored-looking lobster-tinged couples and enthusiastic foreigners take inspiration from the bygone days of patrician Brits on the Grand Tour behind flocked curtains and genteel tablecloths. Very old-fashioned and rather staid, but if you’re missing your cup of Earl Grey while abroad, this may really hit the spot.
