Beach Burrito

Not that many Sydney cafes have a following like Beach Burrito. After a day in the sun, salt-crusted Bondi locals make a pilgrimage here, leaning their surfboards up against the wall outside and high-fiving their mates who are already chowing down on tacos, quesadillas and the particularly moreish tacitos – which are scrummy baby corn tortillas packed with meat and cheese, and topped with lime juice, chilli and a dollop of guacamole, salsa or sour cream. On a hot summer’s afternoon, it’s a relaxed spot to pull up a chair and sink back a frozen margarita, brain freeze optional. If there’s a few of you, BBC serves five coronas in a bucket of ice. Ay Caramba!
